Thassos Tourism: Koinira

   Koinira is located on the east side of Thassos and is one of the prettiest and most peaceful villages of Thassos with an ancient name and a historical heritage, as many ancient objects have been saved.

   There are many streams contributing to the abundant vegetation of the village. There are also clean and rocky beaches with the best-known Paradise beach, a magnificent, sandy beach just outside Koinira.

   Opposite of the village you can see the small private and uninhabited island of Koinira, that is covered with pine trees and wild olive trees. The owner’s home is in Koinira.
