It lies 55 kilometers from the town of Thassos and 38 km from the port in Skala Prinos.</p></td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2"> <br> <P>   Theologos is a traditional mountain village with picturesque landscapes and unparalleled natural beauty, which maintains the tradition and culture of the past. Dense vegetation, streams with crystal clear waters and natural clean air make the ideal scene for nature lovers. The houses are built with traditional Macedonian architecture with stone roofs, giving the village a noble appearance.</P> <P>   The history of Theologos is lost in the mists of time as it dates back as a settlement before the establishment of the Parians (the first inhabitants of Thasos) on the island (before the 8th century BC). It took its name during Byzantine times.
